About
Science, Spirituality & the Path That Shaped My Work
Science offers a profound understanding of how life functions, but it is not the entirety of how Lizbeth understands life. At the foundation of her work is spirituality, a relationship with the deeper ground from which meaning, connection, reverence and our responsibility to sustain life can emerge. Her spiritual healing journey began with classical yoga through the lineage of Gurani Anjali and deepened through immersive studies in India, where she lived in a Jain ashram alongside ascetic Jain monks and nuns. Today, she continues her contemplative path as an active practitioner within the Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism and the Shri Vidyā Hindu Tradition.
With experience teaching in Southern India and beyond, Lizbeth brings a grounded presence, sincerity, intention and emotional intelligence to her work. Her sessions are skillfully designed and psychological serene. Cultivating self-trust, supportive direction, embodied awareness and the wisdom to develop a deeper relationship with oneself.
For more than a decade, I have worked across private, group, corporate, and community settings, helping individuals build strength, manage stress, reconnect with their bodies, and develop sustainable practices for long-term health. My approach brings together movement and strength, nervous system regulation, breath-work, restorative practices, somatic awareness, and lifestyle education.
My academic and professional background includes a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy, a Master of Arts in Yoga Studies, and certification as a Clinical Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), alongside continued education in the health sciences and clinical care. As my studies evolve, I continue to integrate a deeper understanding of physiology, human health, prevention, and longevity into my work while remaining grounded in the contemplative traditions that first shaped my practice.
I am particularly interested in the relationship between the body and the environments we inhabit from our movement, sleep, nourishment, and daily habits to our relationships, surroundings, and pace of life. I believe health extends beyond exercise alone and requires looking at the whole person and the conditions that influence how we adapt, recover and function.
I work with individuals across different stages of life, including Spanish-speaking clients and those seeking movement and wellness support during pregnancy and postpartum. Whether through private coaching, workshops, retreats, corporate wellness, or educational experiences, my intention is to offer practical, personalized support that helps people better understand their bodies and create healthier ways of living.
